Aww, thank you so much for this! I was in two minds about posting it, but
then thought, what the hell! Most people reading for a while, would have
probably read between the lines anyway, its been a fun year to say the
least. Thanks for your Lovely comment, it really means a lot to me. Its also
having the 'silent ears' on Tumblr that have carried me through, having
somewhere to sound off. xxxxx

You can make the same argument against rebuilding New Orleans (which is actually below sea level) and oceanfront homes. On the one hand, this place is awesome and the odds of something horrific happening are pretty small; on the other hand, someone will be the one living here when the horrific thing actually happens...

Oh, I was watching some cooking show yesterday... I watch way to many of those things and I can't possibly remember which one it was (most are British), but someone did prunes wrapped in bacon, but they took the stones out and put mango chutney inside the prunes... Worth a shot, I reckon...

Oh, and they were saying it's better than pigs in blankets, hee.

I love this Emma! The best part though was that I rethought the whole situation (and my guilt) while I sat sideline tonight watching my eldest (and the one who is most vocal with his discontent) at his swim lesson which is twice a week (and takes a small miracle to accomplish to make sure I pack lunches and dinners the night before as well as picking children up from different schools after work) as well as soccer, cub scouts, parties, gatherings, homework, etc., etc., etc.

It is awful, I know... Mine do it from time to time and it never fails to freak me out. One time Spiffy cat disappeared for FIVE DAYS and just on the day I had put up posters at the locals shops, he saunters in the front door like nothing had happened.. albeit looking slightly worse for wear. Usually if they stay out they are back the following afternoon. It doesn't happen often, maybe once every few months...

Give it more time. If he's not back by tomorow worry some more and think about making some flyers. I'm sure he'll come back. He's probably just fallen asleep somewhere...or someone has taken him in for a visit.

Sometimes cats inexplicably wander off for a day or two at a time and then inexplicably come back whenever it suits them. This isn't unheard of. I know it's weird because this might be the first time it's happened but I think anyone who has an outdoor cat experiences something like this.

There's still a very good chance he'll just walk in when he feels like it. There's no real logic to it but know that cats have a very good sense of direction and sometimes you worry they've been lost and they're actually not at all.

I'd wait another day and then thinking about calling a local humane society and animal shelter. They can help. I wouldn't bother the police as they probably can't. You might have to resort to putting up "lost cat" signs and there's never a guarantee you'll see him again so I don't want to get your hopes up but let's not panic until there's been more time. Remember that cats always want to be where they're comfy and well-fed so if he can, he'll get back to you. Just try not to worry right now.

No, Unless its helping itself while Im at work. Nothing would suprise me. I
will check for a Moustache!!

I have fed him Boiled Chicken (gag) and Plain Boiled Rice, and given him
'Mummy Cuggles' He hasnt decorated the bathroom for the last couple of
hours, so its all good so far....

If hes not better tomorrow I will Fox Trot Oscar to the Vets.
